Harry & Michael and the raw post punk politico ramblings of "Wasteland"

"the wasteland grows, whoa to the man who harvests wasteland within..."

Listening to the coarse, scouring rub of "Wasteland' by Eora / Sydney based Harry & Michael and you might want to gleefully sway your hips while having your alcoholic drink of choice. With the samba-fied, Casiofied machine beat, the hint of shaker, the slippery busker punk bass lines and a (maybe) dada-esque inward vocal aesthetic that broods and erupts like a freeing performance that feels like an amalgam of Jim Morrison and Iggy Pop.

Very cool in an organic house party sort of way or around a psychedelic campfire on a faraway beach, "Wasteland" was recorded live while exorcising demons and concerns about the disruption of natural cycles due to global warming.
