AP Playlist: "End Credits of a Film"

"I can't stop the feeling that it's coming around..." - 'Sweet Candy' by Before After Again

This curated playlist is called "End Credits of a Film" and this eclectic blend of music, of genres has one thing in common, they all feel like they would be interwoven throughout a film or play during the end credits. This trip starts with Belgium based Turquoise and the stunning mysterious "Lumio" sung in French. It not only feels like an end credit song for a film but feels like the theme to a Netflix or Hulu binger. It seems to flow into "Sweet Candy" by the darkwave post punkian Before After Again, a chunky runaway track full of romance. Will Purdue's gothic country noir of "Missing Piece" conjures up dusty roads and running away from something. The rebel rock indie yell of Neumatic Parlo tells it's own descriptive story in "Departure" and "The Battle of Quebec" by Jaboom reveals a story too with what feels like a ghost in mirrors.

There is the "Lost Somewhere" by Mountains of Jura that has the kind of musical narrative that can inspire a film. There is the sort of 70's psychedelia of "Ocean" by The World of Dust featuring Karl Blau and Longhead's surf punk adorned dream scape of "Longherder" that might just hypnotize and the broad eurowave escapism of Westerner with the wanderlustful "Restless".

Enjoy and share. And if you find my playlists interesting, please follow.
