Fomies and the fable-esque acid rock monster of "Ego Trip" (Official Video)

Listening to the lovely stoned chord shapes of "Ego Trip" by the Vevey, Switzerland based five piece garage-fuzz band Fomies and I could feel a smile swell on my face. Within the loud / massively loud aesthetic I feel the late 70's heavy metal stammer of Black Sabbath (which is fucking rad) and the unbridled surf punk tornadoes of current bands like OSEES with a side of Tropical Fuck Storm / meets METZ (or thereabouts). The absolute density of sound is numbing in the best possible way with gothic, even bohemian tones percolating underneath, like flutes or mellotron-esque stuff like Donavan as a punker is peeking through in the background and the feral breakdown and breakneck runaway sound is mesmerizing. 

 Digging this a lot.
