Killer Cashew and the expanding rainbow of 'Reality'

"never new how this car could crash but it's all come down on me..."

Mellotron sounds make me happy. They might even be a cure for melancholia, at least for me. You have mellotron sounds and a lot more on 'Reality' by Sweden based 6 piece alt indie rock outfit Killer Cashew. The track with absolutely drop dead gorgeous vocals, sleepy bending garden rock guitar lines, tightly wound bass / drums, big moments of orchestrations with fanning guitars, synths, reverse sounds and ambient tones makes you swoon and feel like you are floating. It is one of those songs that upon every additional listen you hear more carefully places subtleties.

The band says of 'Reality' that is "loosely describes a panic attack, and how you would end up having one. The recording and production process went very smooth, everything kind of fell into it's place naturally. We are very happy with the end result, a lot of time and effort still went into it, and we hope that people will be able to relate to it in their own way!"

I dig it.
