The urgent cool and somber edges of 'Everyone' by Year of the Moon, the music project from Nashville, TN-based songwriter James Francis Moorehead, feels perfect for the cold nights of winter. It is the kind of song that instinctively makes you want to hike up your coat tightly around your neck. Moorehead's vocal countenance feels moody and the percolating rhythms, driving beats and alt rock dirty guitar sustains create a cinematic nostalgia. A post punk counter position to 'Boys of Summer', a cold sunset surf ride across darkened waves with a full suit on or standing in dense city crowds but feeling all alone.

Of 'Everyone' James shares: 

“I wrote this song with my friends Joe Lekkas and Ben Douglas from the Nashville-based band Palm Ghosts. “Everyone” is partly about the dynamics of crowd psychology, in many contexts, and how the charisma of a person can affect a larger group of people in very powerful-and even frightening-ways.”
