ANIMA and the sad shiny lullaby of "Innocence"

"the city's burning down in remembrance of the past..."

Sad and moody with circular patterns that might suggest a post rock lullaby. Thoughts of 90's Radiohead, 70's Manfred Mann and visions of Edward Scissorhands. I thought of those things and late night drives down Sunset Blvd, sad reflection on wet streets while listening to "Innocence" by an Italian band called ANIMA. I don't have much information on them really and some of their social links did not work for me tonight but what did work was the absolutely moving somber atmospheres and a vocal aesthetic full of tear stains on paper.

Digging this and hope that you do too.
