The haunting slow downward spiral of "Sustain" dipped in crusty 90's post grunge melancholia might feel like piloting your car down an unknown highway in absolute darkness with the lights off. There are heightened tensions that bubble down in your gut, a sense that something is sour but you have to persist. That being said there is a feeling of catharsis when the stoic cadence explodes like you knew it would.
