Dead Billionaires and the jubilant rallying cry of "15 Words"

"Fuck white supremacy wherever it stands I don’t want to hear those 14 words again..."

From the album, "Disaster Preparedness Coloring Book", the punk meditation (or daily affirmation) of "15 Words" by Richmond, Virginia's alt garage rockers Dead Billionaires, is a blistering progressive piece of music with a singular guttural rally cry, "Fuck white supremacy wherever it stands."

Liner notes say:

[A song written after witnessing the murder of Heather Heyer by a white supremacist in Charlottesville VA in 2017]

And despite the emotional gravitas here based on the absolute collision of hate, stupidity, horror born out of the worst human defect blooming of evil seeds planted since tribalism started, the track somehow feels jubilant in terms of empowerment, in terms of simply saying that White Supremacy at it's core is possibly the fruit of all evil. It is powerful, impactful, important to celebrate the unity of fighting evil.

Around this raised fist kind of sound, the musicality is so tightly would and beautifully expressive. The bass, drums, guitar interplay kills on every level in terms of it's exciting, head banging, explosiveness. Digging this so much.
