Space Kitchen and the unbridled alt pop vision of "My Love To You"

"I never knew when you left that you'd be leaving / I guess I'll send my love to you / And as the time passes the day / Clouds don't leave the sky at all and that's okay..."

A follow up to their very trippy eponymous full length, Space Kitchen's follow up single "My Love To You" might feel less daring but, instead, endearing. While their 2023 album "Space Kitchen" is an engaging pastiche of prog rock, power pop, art rock, space rock, indie rock all kind of colliding together and filtered through 60's to 90's atmospheres and about TV sitcom ideation, zoo keepers, surreal visions, existential dives, fables, science fiction tendencies, goblins and more, this new track is a straight up sort of Brit pop meets doo wop American pop. You can feel the audience bob their heads left to right in a peachy keen way and the glam soaked Brian May-esque lead guitar break is super cool.

Check it out and be sure and check out the "Space Kitchen" album.
