Slung and the bold massive heaviness of "Laughter" - Live @ Shaken Oak (Official Video)

"lately, there's nothing to hide"

The audacious full throttle explosiveness of "Laughter" (Live @ Shaken Oak) by UK's alt rock 4 piece Slung, from the very onset, demands our utter attention. Great studio bands don't always make for great live bands but great live bands almost always make for great studio bands so I suspect that Slung's passionate wail feels incredibly right cutting an artistic swath through both disciplines. I love the unrelenting guitar power, the bottom heavy super active bass fluidity, the slamming drumming that pounds and shuffles and, of course, the compelling vocal countenance that straddles post rock sonic arcs and punk / post hardcore ferocity.

LINER NOTES:

[First piece of music released by a Slung, a tight-knit crew of the formerly gifted and talented, Slung was forged to deliver blistering riffs, sinister drum patterns and sickly sweet vocals, all wrapped up in a tasty tortellini of 90's slacker rock nostalgia.]
