The complex stacked subversions of "HOLIDAY" by mover / shaker / artist LIL DUSTY G has sonic secrets to behold. Exquisitely soaked in a shoegaze wash are a lot of genre blends. I mean at it's core I feel broad pop melodies that could have existed in the realm of sad boy 70's pop but there is something post grungy occurring too as well as the heaviness of 90's alt rock ala Smashing Pumpkins as filtered through a kind of Flaming Lips or Beckian prism too or maybe at this point, after having one too many, maybe I am just fucking imagining it all. 

Anyway, I like the pretty melodies against the artful noise- it is pretty infectious as is the distressed Official Video shot and edited by Abraham Rasmussen.
