Tear Veins and the illusory hazey shoegaze distillations of "Cypress"

"I want you to leave me alone / Leave me alone..."

The illusory haze saturating the shoegaze indie distillations of "Cypress" by Central Canada's Tear Veins will flood your senses and if you close your eyes you will see something. The something you see will likely not be the same thing that I see or someone else sees but whatever it is, I am sure it will haunt you for days despite the song's brevity. Speaking of that, I do wish the swim was longer as I am loving the vocal sound, the circular guitars, solid beats with rushing fills, the hypnotic bass push and, of course, those images. 

Tear Veins wrote the song quickly and recorded and mixed it all in one day. Sometimes with icons and up and coming icons, the most magnetic songs come quickly.
