[While evacuating from the fires, MUNNYCAT’s K808 and Khaledzou stumbled upon the unfinished demo track during a long car ride. Overcome with emotion, they immediately called LG to check in, who shared a similar experience of being displaced by the fires. That moment sparked the decision to release 'Lift You Up' as a fundraiser to help their less fortunate neighbors also impacted by the wildfires.
All proceeds from the song will be donated to WalkGood LA - a family-led wellness 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has helped thousands of their neighbors displaced due to the wildfires access food, water, clothing, and shelter.
With the help of their friends and music partners at Marmoset Music, MUNNYCAT and LG have already raised over $800 through their efforts and are eager to continue raising funds and awareness for wildfire relief efforts during the month leading up to the release of the single.
