SIDE DƟƟR and the emotional breadth and scope of "Cargo de Nuit"

The breadth and scope of "Cargo de Nuit" by SIDE DƟƟR, the solo project of Los Angeles based artist multi instrumentalist Keveen Baudouinm, navigates in moving, albeit mysterious ways. To me, seeded from 70's psychedelic rock and iterations thereof, I am loving the folk rock drops and western pop noir guitar embellishments but, in terms of the vocal persona, the song speaks to me even though I don't speak Italian or French. I know that sounds weird but in some kind of surreal way, the fact that I can interpret the words the way I want is perfect during these tumultuous times when life as we know it, when our systems of political discourse are in peril, this song makes the most sense. When I feel depressed, when I feel like fighting, when I feel somehow hopeful this song nudges at me accordingly with it's grand filmic presence.  

Conceptually I thought of artists like Pink Floyd, The Moody Blues, Airbag.
