L.A.'s Grit Harbour - "I'll Never Leave You" feels perfect this morning

On this Sunday morning as ice cold rain falls lazily on Georgia soil and as many people are getting amped up for Super Bowl parties, I plan on making music and listening to music that is (to me) fresh and new. I chainsawed a fallen tree or two yesterday so I have plenty of word to burn in my freezing cold basement / studio / hangout and "listen to music" sanctuary.

On this gloomy day, the track I'll Never Leave You by L.A's Grit Harbour seems perfect. Built around a simple piano progression and James Markas' strained vocal performance. Violins swells as guitars pull off bluesy expressions around the sprite beat and active bass. The song has an almost Delta Blues sway and while their Facebook Page lists their influences as The Beatles, The Doors, Bob Dylan, Howlin Wolf, Rolling Stone, Michael Jackson and Tomatoes (?) I was surprised not to see Van Morrison as this track possesses a kind of Into The Mystic wanderlust to it.
