Near Death Daydream from the "Rebirth" album by Cursed Arrows feels like a baroque pop diorama full of dramatic cut outs held up by orchestral flourishes and art rock motif's. The theater of it all may mute the emotional weight (a wee bit) but who gives a damn when it sounds so exquisitely cool. Cursed Arrows are Ryan Stanley (guitars, vocals, drums, piano), Jackie (vocals, guitars) and Scott Gray (drums, guitars, bass, melodica) and they conjure up their magical sounds blending post punk, alt folk, blues psyche art rock in Huntsville, Ontario, Canada.
