Joseph Wayne Miller - blends indie rock, country and folk and gets "Spacey" from the inspired "Tumbleweed" album

Dallas, Texas born singer songwriter Joseph Wayne Miller cooks up alt folk / indie rock songs with some deep pop hooks inspired for the most part by a wide array of 60's and 70's folk and country artists. In his family home he remembers the music of John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, Kris Kristofferson, Guy Clark, Neil Young and even Leonard Cohen. 

The track Spacey off the newly released "Tumbleweed" album feels (to me) like bouncy indie rock / pop (I thought of Ben Folds Five) but it is multi-colored including a cool half time bridge that veers trippily into psychedelic frames. Loving the bass lines and that piano that will surely make you smile inside.
