"Get Away" by Oslo based Monalia is deliciously dreamy from the "So Much Better" album dropping today

Get Away by Oslo Based band Monalia is an airy textured rock song. The bass and snare slapped drum beat cut such an engaging deep groove that dances. And that drum beat / bass combination does want to make you move in a sort of hippie stoner rock sort of way. The guitar sounds are delicious and the vocals (of which there are many flowing in from all spaces) create a dense dreamy sound. The effect is like a hazy fog of psychedelia or a haunted day dream. The band calls their sound mountain surf influenced by 60's pop and the British underground scene from the 80's and 90's.

Monalia is Terje Halmrast  (guitar, vocals),  Vegar Eriksfallet  (drums), Bendik Dræge Orvan  (bass), Svein Petter Nilssen (bass)  and Stine Helen Tunstrøm (vocals)

Their album, "So Much Better" is out NOW on Spotify, released on" the 5th of April 2019. The album release will be followed by a tour in Norway.
