Schoolyard Love by Johko is a cool and perfectly poised bedroom pop song. Besides the simple and sweet approach, it has deep hooks and lyrical content that is smart and charming. The dissonant lead break is percussive and so rad too. I absolutely love the lyrics:

"I've got a lot of books
But it's hard for me to finish them to the end
I'm in love with the beginnings
It's a flaw that I'm working to mend"

and...
