"Otabek Salamov (Beck), wrote the track wanting to make the song be filled with nostalgia. The hero of the song addresses the truth and how he is eager for knowledge, no matter how bitter it is. The song is the first off the album which intertwines the power of truth and how truth is power with many hidden metaphors and life stories."
