Los Vampiros Amarillos keep the punk real on "Injury Is Likely"

Injury Is Likely by Pittsburgh, PA's Los Vampiros Amarillos has a stoned punk sway with an open drum beat with loose fills and guitar chops. The vocals have a punk snarl and wail and it feels mosh pit worthy. Band members Jesse Baldoni, Ben Vivio and Kevin Koch keep it heavy and real and free of modern punk tropes. I dig this sound, the simplicity of the rawness. Stated influences are bands like The Sonics, The Posies, The Buzzcocks, Guided By Voices and more recently from acts such as Ty Segall, Courtney Barnett, and Car Seat Headrest.

Injury Is Likely is the first single off their soon to be released full length. Stay tuned boys and girls.
