Caoilfhionn Rose's beautiful declaration "Being Human" is a sweet pill

Caoilfhionn Rose's dreamy and beautiful sauntering track, Being Human, the first single from her debut album "Awaken" feels like a celebration and it is. The singer-songwriter who hails from Manchester, England acknowledges that it is inspired by those around her. She says, "To me, it's about appreciating the people that I'm surrounded by and feeling peaceful and happy."

Saying and singing "I like being human" at first sounds odd, poetically so, yes but odd still but the sense of gratitude seeped into even my cynical flesh and bones. Rose possesses an embraceable voice propelled by deep percussion and bass and pearly guitar notes. My stress level lowered listening to this beautiful declaration. This sound and aesthetic and song is needed during these times. It is nice to saunter instead of climbing over the divisive rubble heaped down from the negativity out in the world, on TV and social media. Thanks for the vacation Caoilfhionn Rose.
