Sleepy Gaucho stirs the dreamy psyche folk "Lucy" featuring Patrick Sansone of Wilco

AP Track Review

Sleepy Gaucho aka Andy Goitia from Milwaukee, Wisconsin has the amazing ability to write, to create beautifully cast alt folk songs filtered through dreamy sort of 70's garden rock tones. Melodies and evocative lyrics dressed in faded torn bell bottoms that feel extremely chill but seriously so like the kind of love that holds on through everything but tenderly. Just listen to the Lucy that features Patrick Sansone of Wilco on percussion, organ, mellotron and glockenspiel pouring on clear multi-colored streams of psychedelia. Bravo guys. Bravo.

THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM - PRESS NOTES:

Sleepy Gaucho’s latest track, “Lucy,” is a sheer expression of vague reminiscence built on sunny chords and hazy vocals. Featuring Patrick Sansone of alt-country pioneers Wilco on percussion, organ, mellotron, and glockenspiel, the psychedelic folk piece is filled with luminous riffs and mellow harmonies centric on the Midwestern artist’s bittersweet theme. “I've always thought there is a certain beauty to a brief encounter, someone you might catch eyes with but will probably never see again. That's Lucy, wherever she is," he explains. A journey into Sleepy Gaucho’s artistic vision, “Lucy's" transparent lyrics and enticing production are a sonic narrative you’ll want to revel in regularly.
