Alex Siegel's too chill, too cool "Too Late" feels like California in 16mm film (Official Video)

AP Track Review

On the video for the chill Too Late, singer-songwriter, producer Alex Siegel mines his California haunts from the ocean to Little Tokyo in downtown LA. A spot that he has loved since childhood. His quest was to capture making the song, following the creative flow. The song itself has a California sweet spot vibe with an easy beat, tropical punk nods gently fueled by stair stepping guitar, slapping bass, double time piano and Siegel's surf washed cool croon. Love this aesthetic and it does feel like flying down P.C.H scouting for waves.

THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM - PRESS NOTES:

Alex Siegel is a rapidly emerging experimental Californian songwriter and producer. Born and raised in Santa Monica, Siegel cites various genres as influences on his music; with jazz, bossa nova, folk, pop, and hip-hop all going into the sound cauldron. His creations are eclectic and evocative, with swirling productions tapping into your deepest emotions.
Siegel plays all the instrumentation on his tracks, which may go some way to explaining how personal and rich the soundscapes feel. His songs are rich in texture, varied in their use of sounds and unapologetically emotional.
