Millionaire (jz + bncé) by glam / art pop provocateurs L.A. based MUNNYCAT is shiny and dirty (like distortion) at the same time with a pure hyper realistic sound. Now let me state for the record, that I foisted the glam / art pop descriptor on these two creatively twisted partners in love, life, art etc. because I am feeling an all inclusive ultra lush sound that pushes into art rock / new wave territory as well as indie and electro pop. When the music breaks, the synth mirrored vox are so exquisitely dreamy in a sort of enchanted forest sort of way and when the acoustic break happens it feels like crushing love when the song veers into twee pop tones (like The Softies) and even psyche pop (like MGMT). So much delicious, hug-able things happening here. Beyond sweet.
