I talk a big game about American Pancake striving to find the divergent, the avant garde of all genres but at the same time sometimes a song just charms me despite that it may not swing in alternative ways. This is the case with Eric Pedigo's "charming" track Carousel. There is just something about the runaway cadence, sprite, nimble guitar picking and Pedigo's boy next door vocal aesthetic. Let's see if you agree.
