MIRRORS turns on ethereal synths and dark sonic grooves on "I'm Still Here"
AP Track Review
Seattle based multi-instrumentalist, producer and San Francisco transplant Sean Goldie pushes his thoughts into the creative realm mixing musical influences as MIRRORS and the track I'm Still Here has a deep groove, a cinematic sound and evocative vocals that sonically (to me) lurk behind the sheer veil of androgyny. It all makes for a dreamy tech-tonic feel with a sci-fi patina. Goldie spent nearly 10 years tinkering with synths and samplers in the bay area producing dance music. After his move to Seattle's Capital Hill district he played punk and metal while making ends meet bartending. Somehow those many influenced coalesced into what now is MIRRORS.

THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM - PRESS NOTES:
MIRRORS is the brainchild of Seattle-based music producer and multi-instrumentalist Sean Goldie, and is the result of nearly a decade of tinkering with synthesizers and samplers. Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, Goldie took an early interest in electronic music production, and spent much of his youth making dance music. A move to Seattle’s Capitol Hill bar district, years spent playing punk and metal, and a bartending career later, Goldie’s propensity toward slow, dark, ethereal music combined with his electronic production skills, and MIRRORS was born.
