Processions' shoe gaze and proggy post rock tendencies on "Runaways"
AP Track Review
Processions are a post punk band out of the San Antonio / San Marcos / Austin areas of Texas and their track Runaways, off of their debut EP "Blush", is a powerful blend of post punk with elements of shoe gaze and proggy post rock tendencies. The vocals are cast in a hazy wash of sound while the dense bass and guitar lines maneuver around the drum work. Processions are Phil Alfonso (Vocals / Guitar), Mike Bankston (Bass), Orion Abernathy (Guitar / Vocals) and Justin Mora (Percussion/ Drums). - Robb Donker
