Scandinavian electro-rock group Dear Moon and the mountain charging "Queen of Silence"

AP Track Review

Listen to the debut single Queen of Silence by the Scandinavian electro-rock group Dear Moon and you might catch a vibe full of new wave romance and the post punk / indie wave if bands like the Killers and Kaiser Chiefs. There is a nostalgic nod to the 80's in their sound with 90's flavors too. Tommi Saikkonen's vocals have a passionate edge filled with desperation and resolve at the same time. The sweeping synths and full rock sound makes the track soar. An anthem of full tilt sounds to charge up mountains.

THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM - PRESS NOTES:

This is Dear Moon, a Scandinavian electro-rock group from Kuopio, Finland. Their debut single ”Queen of Silence” was released on 20th of Dec on every digital platforms. The follow-up single is to be released on early 2020 and the full album on spring 2020...
If Alternative Nation was still airing on Music Television, the music of Dear Moon would be a perfect fit for its playlists. At the crossroads of ragged alternative rock and modern electronic music, they have discovered the airiness and serenity of tranquil lakes, the melancholy of a dark and rainy night, as well as primitive, frantic beats to incorporate into their unique musical blend.
The band’s lineup comprises group of friends since early ’90s Tommi Saikkonen (vocal & guitar), Timo Kokko (guitar), Sampsa Väätäinen (drums, vocals), Tatu Savolainen (bass, vocals) and Markus Lumipuu (synths, vocals).
