"feels like a big smile"
Monaka Hinata is a Japanese composer, track maker, producer and musician and on Spilled Milk (English version featuring Liel Bar-Z) he cooked up a big, brash piece of happy pie. With the effected beats that conjure up trash can drum sets in an urban alley, the big ball bounce tone overall and Liel Bar-Z's truly upbeat vocal aesthetic that feels like a big smile in and of itself this feels truly celebratory and animated (like that Paula Abdul 80's music video). This is infectious stuff and coming from me, who you know swims in seas of sadcore, that is saying something.
