White Noise Cinema's horror synth pop meets industrial post rock on "Unpersons" is, indeed, popcorn worthy (Official Video)

Popcorn Worthy

Birmingham (UK) six piece alternative rock band White Noise Cinema make music that lives up to their name. The track Unpersons starts in filmic ways with horror pop affectations that fall way into a heavy synth pop meets industrial post rock tones. Ben Allen's vocal aesthetic is art rock passionate and the musicality here is tightly wound but with ample heavy metal hooks along the way. As big as the heavy rock is with big guitars, sonic sustaining stabs of lead and vicious drumming, the song can ascend into sublime acoustic guitars that feel dreamy before falling into the artistic chaos again. This makes for such an engaging and, well, cinematic experience.

THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM - PRESS NOTES:

White Noise Cinema are a Birmingham-based six-piece specialising in dark, melodic and rhythmically intense music for the dispossessed and the uninhibited.
After two years spent honing their unique blend of electronica and alternative guitar music on the live scene, they unveil their debut single “Reaction” – a broken pop song about Instagram and suicide. It is the first in a series of new releases by the band that plan to innovate, frighten and delight in equal measure.
Fans of 90s stalwarts such as Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails should pay attention - this is mature, electronic rock with a lump in its throat and fire in its belly.
