Yoni Sheleg, drummer for tons of Indie outfits, releases solo psyche rock "Spinning"

"immersed in a sort of vast psychedelia"

Venturing out on a solo career, Yoni Sheleg (Asaf Avidan & The MojosCass McCombs, Amen Dunes, Indigo Street, Isaac Gillespie, ZulaTrivial Shields) releases the track Spinning recorded across continents in San Francisco, Switzerland, Israel and Brooklyn. Immersed in a sort of vast psychedelia but not content to sit in a chill bed of music (just listen to the rock heavy kind of feral drumming) the track feels garden rock forward. Sheleg's dreamy croons cast 60's Beatle-esque all inclusive Maharishi Yogi Mantra driven vibes in a big multi-colored way.

THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM - PRESS NOTES:

An Israeli-born professional drummer since his teenage years, Yoni Sheleg joined at age 19 what became one of Israel’s most successful international rock bands, Asaf Avidan & The Mojos (signed with Sony). During his 5 years touring and recording with “The Mojos” he shared the stage with some of the world’s most renowned musicians such as Robert Plant, Ben Harper and Lou Reed.
Since the Mojos, Sheleg relocated to New York City where he broadened his musical career by playing with an impressive roster of successful local and national bands such as Cass McCombs, Amen Dunes, Indigo Street, Isaac Gillespie, Zula and Trivial Shields to name a few.
The release of 'Spinning' marks the launch of his solo career. Recorded across continents in San Francisco, Switzerland, Israel and finally at Brooklyn, 'Spinning' is the reflection of a transitional time in Sheleg’s life.
The single was fully produced and recorded by Yoni Sheleg and mastered by Ben Etter (Deerhunter, Franz Ferdinand, Cut Copy).
