Ariel Beesley's punk pop shiny, sweet and brash "Honey (lick it up)" is rock and roll delicious

"it's that he tastes like honey"

"Honey is 80% sugars and 20% water. Honey is the only food source produced by an insect that humans eat. Bees produce many things that directly benefit humans, such as honey, wax, resins, propolis, royal jelly. The top honey-producing states are California, Florida, and South Dakota."

I hope you enjoyed those Wiki facts, who knows if they are true, they are, after all, Wiki facts. Those facts are inspired by Ariel Beesley's (artist, singer-songwriter, musician, model) quite literally delicious indie rocker Honey (lick it up). This track is so pop forward in a kind of power pop, meets electro pop, meets twee pop, meets new wave and while there is a wee bit of punkish quality underneath (and glam) in Beesley's vocal aesthetic, it is pop drenched but in a really (again) delicious way. I thought of Blondie a little bit in it's rock and roll sexuality and posture. It is shiny and sweet and brash. Love it.
