BuddhaFly Quest dream and jam out on the indie electronic (and organic) "Ragged Flats" (Official Video)

"pretty much a mystery"

Sometimes songs come to my electronic desk and the artist is pretty much a mystery. That is the case with BuddhaFly Quest from Toronto, Canada. They seem to be a duo but maybe more. There song Ragged Flats is dreamy with a very cool beat that cuts a deep groove through "both organic and electronic sounds" and mellow vox that feel easy but have urgency too especially during the chorus which takes off at a double time clip. You can hear the organic guitars jamming and I am really loving the drums. The half time, double time back and forth between the verses and chorus are powerful and make the song feel proggy and give it a kind of spacey (in another time- you might call it bohemian or hippie-ish) tone that actually made me think of the iconic YES, um, probably circa (1976). Cool song that would be such a fresh diversion on any playlist.
