Kush K is a Swiss trio and the wonderfully different "Mrk" from their album "Lotophagi" is an absorbing sensory experience

Mrk from the Swiss trio Kush K and from their 2020 album "Lotophagi" feels trippy from the onset. The bass and beat have this interesting cushion feel to them like a pillow is over that mix. Along with the transient synth keys and a vocal aesthetic that has an anxious tension, it is an absorbing sensory experience. It moves fast and then at a certain point feels like it is dropped in a body of water slowing down in a slow motion fog of sounds. Amazing. It picks up again and so this curious dance happens and it is lovely and interesting. In some way this feels like performance art more than a song and I like that.
