Slow Soak stirs sadness in a paper cup on "Blood & Bones" (Official Video)
"black boxes laughter that turns you into stone"
Slow Soak are from Basel, Switzerland and their song Blood & Bones (which, by the way has a dreamy / interesting / kinda odd official video) has a beautiful languid style with picking electric guitars, one with that certain ringing note that repeats, surprising chord changes and sad, pained vox. To be honest, it reminds me of late 90's Radiohead a bit and that is not a bad thing. As the song moves along and, if you let the curious words fall over you and absorb into your skin, you might feel all your own sadness and past regrets bubble to the surface. The ascensions are pretty and moving. I like this.
