The Good Manners uplifting, soulful, funktastic, groovy "Good Times"

"I lost my girl, I lost my mind"

The Good Manners are the musically diverse duo of Gabriel and Marcos. Originally from Spain, Marcos' journey led him to different points around our globe and ending up in Guatemala. Somehow (call it fate) the duo hooked up and now both make their music in London. Funny how that happens. Sometimes I think that finding a fellow creative, fellow artist, fellow musician that fits within your artistic vision is the hardest thing to do. It is like a successful marriage I suppose. Listen to Good Times and you will see / hear that it is a marriage made in heaven. This track is, at once, classic as it is fresh. The hand claps over the funky keys, drums, bendy guitar notes and soulful vocals while the bass wraps around, steps back, throws styles points and steps back in is amazingly uplifting. We need this kind of music, this kind of vibe, this kind of love more than ever. Funktastic vocal performance.

The Good Manners is a story of musical enlightenment. Leaving his beloved Spain Marcos traveled to the most remote places in the world. In the meantime, on the other side of the planet, Gabriel worked hard to find the essence and meaning of music. After a time of wandering, with a guitar on his back, frequencies drew Marcos to Guatemala. There, they forged the path to ‘The Groove’. In Groove they trust. In London they live and spread their music.

From Bill Withers and Sly & the Family Stone, to Anderson .Paak and Mac Demarco, The Good Manners studied and continue to study the masters and hope to one day reach musical enlightenment.
