Wild Signals mine dark waves of post punk in L.A. on "All Odds"
"who you are won't keep you safe"
All Odds by L.A. band Wild Signals mines dark waves of sound that might make you think of late 70's proto punk or 80's new wave. It is the vastness, feral nature of the drumming, the sonic sustain of guitar lines that fan and never end, that mid range bass sound and the girl/ girl vox of guitarists Noël Brydebell and Nicole Ridgely that hearken back while looking forward. I did think of a crashing together of The Cure and Savages, enticing isn't it?
Wild Signals is Noël Brydebell (vocals, guitar), Nicole Ridgely (vocals, guitar), Josh Renkow (drummer) and Ben Keysaer (bass).
