TV FACE's chunky in your face post punkery of "Yarns" from Lancaster (UK)
"she knows how to get her way"
Yarns by Lancaster's (UK) TV FACE is ripe with angular musical shifts, front forward drums, heavy fresh cut dirty guitars and boy / girl vox with wide eyed diatribe'l vocal aesthetics. This sound, potent, full of chunky double time build ups and rebel yells is the kind of music I love, the kind of music you want to see LIVE in a small venue, so close that some sweat might catch you in the face.
The prolific post punk outfit is promising a digital single release the last Friday of every month this year (2020).

THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM - PRESS NOTES:
Made in Lancaster in 2018, the band called TV FACE are a DIY, post-punk trio who pen angular musical missives about politics, parasites and potatoes.
The band are holed up in their cellar writing, recording, and then releasing a single on the last Friday of every month during 2020.
Their February single 'O Death is Coming' was featured on Tom Robinson's Fresh On the Net Faves and his BBC Introducing Mixtape on BBC 6 Music.
It also earned them The Unsigned Guide Spotlight who said: "Right from the off, O Death Is Coming feels like an aural existential panic attack. Jarring, metallic guitar sounds are backed by rollocking bass and drums, giving the impression that you've just stepped onto a steam train that is hurtling towards a cliff edge."
Live reviews:
"This Lancaster trio attack with a Pixies style garage psych punk thing. We love it. Raw, dirty and rough around the edges, it’s the kind of thing that makes us tick." (Get Into This)
"a psycho-pop ensemble with a truly enormous live sound...complete insanity in all its beauty, packaged into a neat selection of punchy tunes" (Final Hours)
