Bone Acre and the fervent blistering rock of "Hands To The Sky"

"holding onto my hope with out reason or pride"

Hands To The Sky by L.A. / Joshua Tree based Bone Acre and from their upcoming sophomore album "Taciturnity" is a blistering rocker. Amid a feral double time beat, deep textured bass, staccato guitar attacks and Caroline Heerwagen's crushing vox you feel like you are steeping in a world of psychedelia, post punk, soulful blues rock and more. There is such a heaviness and urgency here. There is a sense of rock classicalism too, of rock of ages, of rock from the gods and goddesses of rock. The power is so pervasive that I flashed on so many rocking bands and artists like a amalgam of Led Zeppelin, Heart, Janis Joplin and Queens of the Stone Age.

"A bombastic, post punk anthem about religious fervor" - bone acre

Bone Acre are Caroline Heerwagen, Sean Burgess, Jason Obergfoll and Ashley Mendel.
