Misha Ostrov and the dreamy post punk perplexities of "Does It Bother You?"

"and show me something to make me cry..."

Misha Ostrov’s new single “Does It Bother You?” is an anthemic and atmospheric gem that lashes rhythm and distortion, nicely paired with affecting vocals and spoken word. The track is structured in a way that sets the mood for a carefully crafted dreamy post-punk manifesto. The lyricism ponders the perplexities of human growth, and how we navigate through learning and experiences. What irks us, what the point of it all is and how the people and happenings in our lives have molded us. The track is fit for the times, emulating the blend of hope and confusion we all feel right now. As a fairly new group, it must feel strange to be in the fruition stages of a band during a pandemic. But they’ve got something good going on, and we wish the best for this project. Listen to “Does It Bother You?” and we’ll be sure to let you in on what comes next for Misha Ostrov.
