Doll Klaw and the sweet synth laden pop dedication "Angelica"

"my hands are shaking in disbelief..."

Doll Klaw’s recent release “Angelica” is a sweet synth haven dedicated to their childhood friend who sadly passed on recently. Beautiful and strong vocals pour over dancing keys which paint the picture of love and loss. The ethereal sound blended with melancholic dreamy vocals take you to an otherworldly realm. The lyricism portrays the common and shared feelings of grief; wishing we could have done more, reached out more, and feeling heartbroken yet filled with love for those who we carry in our hearts after they’re gone. The presence of our lost loves stays with us and makes us stronger, and this feeling is captured brilliantly in “Angelica.” Doll Klaw is the pseudonym of Los Angeles native artist Jessica Caro, a talented musician and writer whose upcoming EP “Thorns” will surely get well deserved play. Listen out for “Thorns” set for release in February, and dive into her currently available music in the meantime.
