KosmoKid simmer and scorch in natural and un-natural jazz ways on "Blomstra // Din Fullaste Utveckling"
"stellar"
Swedish alt jazz quartet KosmoKid on the expansive "Blomstra // Din Fullaste Utveckling" which translates to "Blossom // Your Fullest Potential" has at once a natural jazz vocal tone (sax wise) that suggests possible iconic inspirations but the hollow body electric guitar tones as a cordial mirror and diversion feel like a fusing element anchored in post rock. The standup bass sound is so wonderful and the drum work is absolutely stellar. The song goes from breezy to beautifully dirty. I will never claim to be a jazz aficionado because I am not but this pulled me in their commanding artful, lush groove right away.
