Premiere: Red Sun Radio and the iron and leather rustic rock of "Isotopes" holds a heavy weight

"I count the days 'till you return..."

Some songs feel internal, intimately drawn, flushing out demons for the artist's own catharsis primarily and secondarily for those within earshot. "Isotopes" from New York City's Red Sun Radio cuts deep while shouting off rooftops. From the onset, the dirty Rhodes sound with it's homespun flourish and noisy sustains feel rustic and real. When the electric garden rock guitar lines are thrown up and out, held down by a deeply earnest bass / drums shuffle and passionate, torn and beaten up vox, it is a glorious thing.

This kind of sound fused in a sort of iron and leather way not only feels so Americana Rock not only because the hard folk declarations but the heavy emotional gravitas. In fact, The Weight (1968) by The Band came to mind because "Isotopes" feels as stoically righteous and anthemic and I don't say that much, if ever.
