STREET DREAMS and the raw esoteric midnight movie of "Rock 'N' Roll Music"

"...with all the lights on up in my room"

Street Dreams’ recent single “Rock ‘N’ Roll Music” is an aptly named lo fi jammer that cuts right through. My initial thoughts upon hearing this track were “Dead Moon!” as the vocal styling and garage instrumentation is reminiscent of the raw sounds of Fred & Toody Cole. Street Dreams are a 3 piece out of LA, drawing inspiration from the classics of pop culture, film and music. Living in this city sparked their creativity to make music the way that their predecessors have. It’s not perfect, depending on your definition of such but that’s what makes it so good. Hearing music that sounds live is especially cathartic while we’re all for the most part unable to actually experience live music. Check out “Rock ‘N’ Roll Music” and picture yourself at a show, way too close to the speakers and your sweaty friends.
