"take me higher"
"Half Of Your Love" by Netherlands' based psyche rock outfit DeWolff is steeped in a sort of 70's garden rock vibe drenched in equal parts blues rock and funk affections. That infectious vibe runs throughout the bands 2021 album "Wolffpack", a project managed by the bands large fan base and informed by the the pandemic as the band were quarantining. During this time the band launched a subscription service releasing new tracks every month. Ultimately fans picked the best songs which ended up on the album.
Digging the double time beat on "Half Of Your Love", the droning organ, sweet bluesy croons and the psyche rock explosion at the end. Other songs on the album rock harder like the power punching, "Treasure City Moonchild" and the tribal blues rock stomper "Bona Fide". The rambling roots prog rocker "Hope Train" feels both post rock and classic in tone. The sultry slow dance of "Do Me" lets you catch your breath and turn the lights down low and the dream theater of "Yes You Do" with it's windmill guitar strummed rock swings feels like an American southern rocker meets bohemian art rock. The jammyness here and musical break with organ solo and counterpoised guitars is just f*cking killer. There is a lot to taste and get intoxicated on here. Damn.

Half Of Your Love is a very chill and romantic track about (lost) love and second chances. It's the second track released off Wolffpack, a concept that was born out of the pandemic, where the band launched a subscription service and they released new tracks every month, fans could decide the final track order. We've picked the best out of those tracks, which is the Wolffpack album.
