A. Vos and the escapist memory of "Lemon Moon"

"teary eyed gaze wear it sits in the pool of empty space..."

A. Vos is an experimental folk artist from Atlanta, Georgia and on the escapist memory of "Lemon Moon" from his debut EP "Water Brings the Rapids", he recounts days of his youth told with layered classic folk guitars that suggest a sort of 70's motif with a vocal aesthetic that feels sometimes exasperated by the time that has elapsed. Chamber pop affections arise and more contemporary sounds twirl with shuffling drums, piano, and bass rhythms. Backing vox and folk orchestrations swell and seem to pull back more layers of memories.

Vos shares:

(a song about a place of pure love) "Lemon Moon is about a spiritual experience I had on a beach. A moment of childlike wonder spent with someone I care deeply about. It's about being in the moment and being able to escape back to it during the monotony of everyday life."
