Take garden rock vibes, a bit of surf rock, country folk and splash a 70's California folk rock stoner psychedelic patina all over it and you will have "Tadpole School" by the inimitable Bobcat Rob & The Nightly Howl. It is, by all accounts, an utterly classic, adaptable, all inclusive sound. I cannot fathom anyone who would not love it and if I were to meet someone who did not, well, I wouldn't trust them much at all and I definitely would not want them to marry my daughter or even date my daughter.
The artist know as Bobcat Rob (& The Nightly Howl) has this to say about this track:
Tadpole School is a glimpse into what it's like riding the line between creativity and insanity living in a secluded rundown coastal mansion filled with artists.
I absolutely dig it and it makes me want to go surfing, not now but be transported back to 1976 and cut it up at the cliffs.
