Siamese Twin and the stuff of youth on "Woodland Moonlight" (Dork)

"it was such a beautiful sight..."

"Woodland Moonlight" (Dork) by Munich based Siamese Twin will most assuredly feel nostalgic, embrace you like a comfortable familiar coat, make you think of times of trouble and the pain of love not found. The dense haze of shoegaze rides on an easy, maybe even derivative chord progression, and you might only be able to pick out random words but it doesn't matter. It should feel comfortable and uncomfortable because you are feeling the fucked up, topsy turvy stuff of youth.

It is from Siamese Twin's self titled EP.

-Robb Donker Curtius

"Woodland Moonlight (Dork)" is a heavily-shoegaze-influenced Indie Rock song that I made to always feel 18 years old again whenever I listen to it. I produced it myself in the Telstar Studio where artists such as Arctic Monkeys and Outkast recorded a few songs." - Chris aka Siamese Twin
