"Doug's Rules" is a hazy punk escapade with overdrive stories told in sad wistful ways. The dense atmosphere about house sitting but probably about much more feels proto punkish actually, a signature sound of Drake Elliot, a big punch of lo-fi bathed with emotional ennui in spades.

The track is off "Drake Elliott-Egor Pops Split" a release with two songs from Egor Pops from St Petersburg Russia and Elliott From the San Francisco Bay Area.

Drake Elliott is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter currently based in Berkeley, California with ties to a small island across from Anacortes WA. as well as making music in Portland.
